CWGA
The 2023 Membership Application Form will be available on November 1st. You may access this form online or pick up an application in the Pro Shop. You will notice an increase in the dues this year due to several changes in our club’s future income and expenses. The biggest changes are the following:
- For many years, the Men’s Club paid CWGA $2000 to help them run their Invitational Tournament. The past two years, the Men’s Club has not held their big tournament but still paid CWGA a smaller amount to help with smaller events. Going forward, there is no guarantee that CMC will be holding any events for which CWGA will be receiving payment.
- In 2022, the CWGA Board decided that the club needed to have liability insurance coverage in order to protect our board members and our club.
- CWGA has contracted with MediaPhysics to design a new website to replace our current website which was designed 14 years ago. The new website will offer easier accessibility and new features for our members.
The CWGA club dues are going to be $100 for 2023, but when you pay BEFORE December 31st, you will receive a $20 discount! Also, if you pay before December 31st, you will save our Handicap committee members lots of time and effort in setting up players for the new year.
