PRESIDENTS NOTES JULY 2024
As June is behind us along with cooler weather, we are leaving the theme of Etiquette, Rules, and Integrity “Under the CWGA Golf Umbrella.” And moving into our July theme of Relationships – thinking about those friendships that we have gained through the game of golf.
However, a number of  etiquette notes have been collected during this golf season, locally and globally, and exploring some that may be new and others that cause us a new awareness continues the discussion. It is always good to be reminded of things that we know but can still reflect on.  Likewise, we would hope that a gentle reminder on the course can be given by any member, and received, in a friendly and helpful manner that makes us better golfers and partners.
That helps to build strong, trusting Relationships. Use this attachment as a self-reflective tool to not judge others, but ourselves! And be encouraged to include them in any discussion on the course! We have had fun reflecting and talking about our conduct on the course and strive to get better as well!
