There were several ties. Today, the committee organizing the event had decided that ties would be decided with a card-off. The scores on number #9 Green were compared, and whoever did the best on that hole won. If that hole was a tie, the team who did the best on #6 Green was the winner. After that, #3 Green. This method is one of those used to settle ties.
