This year, those on the Tournament Committee have decided to try a new approach to
the recognition of our Competition winners.
When the tournament is not a shotgun, players’ finishes are staggered, making it difficult
for everyone to wait around until the final group comes in, then wait for scores to be
tallied, then have a Presentation Ceremony, all on the final day of competition.
Instead, this year we will tally scores at the end of the 2nd day of competition and send
out an email blast of Overall Champions and flight winners.
At the end of the season, during the Stagette, Champions from all 3 tournaments,
during the Awards Ceremony, will be recognized and presented with trophies. We are
hoping this will better highlight and honor those who golfed so well and rose to the top!
